I love art and music, cherish nature, and am awed by the world of Dreams. I was around 5 or 6 when I had a dream that I still remember to this day. Blessed by a mom who understood dreams were important, she encouraged me to understand their intrinsic value as well.
Like we all do when we reach adulthood I went searching for what I wanted to be when I grew up, (sometimes I still wonder). 🙂 This took me from trying all forms of art media, to clothing design, to being a makeup artist for print. stage and television, to the healing arts.
One day I realized all the above adventures had a common denominator, each one dealt with images, expression, introspection, and discovering who I was not only as a person, but as a soul.
That prompted me to join the “Dream Team” by enrolling for a two year certification program at the Haden Institute for the Study of Dreams, followed by a second certification program from the Marin Institute for Projective Dream Work.
After that I hung up my shingle in Washington DC Metro Area where I practiced for several years. During those years I also served as a faculty member for the Haden Institute Summer Dream Conference as well as continued my education in dream work by mentoring with Jeremy Taylor, a well know author in the world of dream work, and co-founder of the International Association for the Study of Dreams.
My practice is now located in the Brainerd Lakes Area of beautiful Minnesota where I see clients and offer phone consultation worldwide.
As I sit here typing this I realize that childhood dream’s appearance in my mind now suggests there is something else it wants from me today; it seems it still has ‘juice.’ It wants me to do something. I think I’ll sit quietly with it and find out what that something is.
